Spring 2022 Schedule

  • Incoming international and exchange undergraduate first-year and transfer students: TBD.
    • International and Exchange Students living on campus will move in on TBD. Specifics can also be found at miami.edu/housing.
    • International Student Orientation and the Compulsory Session for Exchange Students will be held on TBD.
  • Incoming domestic undergraduate first-year and transfer students: TBD.
    • Domestic Students living on campus will move in during their assigned day and time on TBD. This will be sent directly to the student’s UM email. It is recommended to wait on travel arrangements (i.e. flights) until assigned the exact move-in day and time. Specifics can also be found at miami.edu/housing.
  • Check-in for the ‘Cane Kickoff orientation program will begin on TBD.
  • Family ’Cane Kickoff (for families of new undergraduate first-year and transfer students): TBD.

    Sponsored by the Department of Orientation & Commuter Student Involvement,  Great Start is a pre-orientation program designed to create a college adjustment and campus involvement experience for new students who will be living off campus in their first year at the University of Miami.

  • International Student Orientation

    MANDATORY PRE-ORIENTATION SESSION FOR ALL FIRST YEAR AND TRANSFER INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

    International Student Orientation is a pre-orientation program sponsored by International Student & Scholar Services for new and transferUniversity of Miami international students. ISO complements 'Cane Kickoff: Spring Orientation program for undergraduate students by providing international students with information and experiences that will assist in their transition to living and studying in the U.S.

  • Exchange Students

    This session is designed for incoming students on a university-sponsored exchange to Miami. The Study Abroad Office will be presenting on processes, services, and opportunities specifically for exchange students.
