Family Cane Kickoff is an optional, but strongly encouraged, two-day orientation program that supports the parents and families of new students. Family Cane Kickoff is designed to address important issues and concerns of new undergraduate families and provides important resources, relevant information, and opportunities to connect with administrators, faculty, students, and other families.
For most of the Family program, parents and family members attend different sessions from students, because the sessions are designed to meet each group’s particular needs and interests.
Registration
Students must provide their family members' email addresses when registering for Cane Kickoff via CaneLink. Family members will receive a separate email containing Family Cane Kickoff registration instructions.
