For students living on campus:
- On your assigned move-in day and time (January 19 or 20), arrive at the Watsco Center and temporarily park in the Yellow Lot.
- Have your photo taken and receive your ’Cane Card.
- Check into your housing assignment.
- Complete your mandatory COVID-19 testing.
- Move into your residential college.
On Wednesday, January 20, after you have completed the steps above, go to the Student Center Complex – Lakeside Patio to check in for the Remote to On-Campus Transition Program.
For students living off campus:
- On Wednesday, January 20 arrive at the Watsco Center and temporarily park in the Yellow Lot.
- Have your photo taken and receive your ’Cane Card.
- Complete your Mandatory COVID-19 Testing.
- After you have completed the steps above, go to the Student Center Complex – Lakeside Patio to check in for the Remote to On-Campus Transition program.
- Download the Guidebook mobile app and become familiar with the Remote to On-Campus Transition Program track schedule.
- Download the University of Miami app on your smart phone.
- Familiarize yourself with the Coral Gables campus.
- Read and understand all University guidelines. All students and family members will need to wear face coverings and engage in physical distancing including all outdoor and indoor spaces. Upon check in, students will be provided with a Safe Return Kit which includes a face covering, hand sanitizer, package of wipes, and a set of gloves. You are encouraged to bring additional supplies.
