I know transitioning from high school to college can be tough, and finding your place here at the University can be tougher, but my fellow CAs and I are here to help you every step of the way. “Hello, and congratulations on being accepted to the best school ever!! My name is Laura Puentes, and I am so happy to welcome you to the U. A little about me: I am a Junior studying Biomedical Engineering on a Pre-Med track with a minor in Chemistry. I am part of a bunch of different clubs and organizations as well as the track team, and this year I am your Commuter Assistant. My goal is to make your transition from high school to college as seamless as possible by helping you make the University of Miami your home away from home. I can't wait to get started!”
