Sandy Brumaire

“Hey there, and welcome to UM! My name is Sandy Brumaire and I am a rising senior majoring in Biology on the pre-med track. I transferred two years ago from Broward College and am currently involved in several organizations on campus such as Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-med org. UM is a beautiful campus and I try to enjoy its scenery as much as possible. I can't wait to work with everyone and feel free to contact me anytime!”

Grace Edwards

“Hi everyone! My name is Grace Edwards and am majoring in Marine Science and Biology on the Pre-Med track.  I am from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and am going into my junior year.  I am an active member of the Veteran Student Organization and love helping out with the UM community. In my free time I like to play the piano and cello.”

Emily Farrell

“Who's ready to start the best semester of college they've ever had? You can count on me to make sure everyone's transition to the U runs as smoothly and positively as possible. I'm so excited to start my junior year and research further into my International Studies major. I transferred to the U before my sophomore year, but I have had the time of my life and coming to Miami has been the best decision I've ever made. Joining clubs such as Miami International Outreach, Veteran Student Organization, and my sorority Chi Omega has allowed me to reach out to various different spheres across campus and make this experience that much greater. I love to stay active by going to the gym and joining intramural sports teams as much as possible. One of my favorite things to do on campus is hangout at the Rathskeller with my friends on a hot day because it has such a great view of everything. I hope you will join me one day!”

Kayla Griffin

“Hi everyone! My name is Kayla Griffin and I am a senior here at the University of Miami. I transferred here after my freshman year from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I am from Long Island, New York. I’m majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Sociology. Paula Ortega

I transferred to UM in Spring of 2016 and absolutely love it here. I live locally so I am always on campus or very close by. With that being said, you can always find me in the library or in the Veteran Student Office as I am also a member of the VSO.  I enjoy helping people out in any way that I can so don't be shy to ask me any questions. I look forward to seeing you all around campus!”

Priscilla Ruiz

You can find me hanging in the Shalala Student Center or buying an acai bowl at Jamba Juice on any given day.
